AMA Member Getter program

Want a free AMA hat? How about a free one-year extension of your AMA membership? No problem. Just take advantage of the new AMA Member Getter program.

For the first member you sign up in the new program, you’ll get a free AMA hat. For the fourth member you sign up in the new program, your AMA membership will be extended for an additional year. Participating is easy. The new member just needs to use the AMA Member Getter sign-up form and include the recruiting member’s number in the space provided.

But best of all, you can rest easy knowing that you’re helping to grow the membership of the world’s largest motorcycling advocacy organization. And more members equal more rights for all of us -- rights that are being attacked on numerous fronts:

• Local governments continue to pass discriminatory sound laws, singling out motorcyclists and ignoring other sources of excessive sound.
• Responsible off-highway recreationalists are being locked out of millions of acres of public land.
• An unrealistic “lead law” designed to protect children from high lead content in small toys is being applied to kids’ dirtbikes and all-terrain vehicles, effectively banning the sale of those vehicles when an enforcement stay expires next year.

This is just a sample of the battles being fought to defend your rights. Do your part to help. Sign up more members for the AMA Army. There’s no registration form or red tape. The new members just have to use the AMA Member Getter sign-up form and include your AMA number in the upper right-hand corner. Of course, you could make it easier for them by printing out the forms and writing in your number.
